Prospective Blackjack dealers have to spend on average 4-6 weeks training in a dealing school, before they get the chance to be employed by a casino, where they will usually receive further in-house training. A Blackjack dealer has be the third disinterested party, they're not on the houses side nor the customers side but they need to be able to keep the game interesting and moving at a good pace whilst fielding questions from the customers and being aware that their are by scrutinized by the Casino's security department. The El Cortez Hotel and Casino was established in 1941 and is the oldest continually run and operated Casino in Las Vegas.
